In 1991 Saucony introduced GRID technology to the running footwear marketplace. Since then, Saucony GRID has functioned similar to a tennis racquet or trampoline for runner’s feet, absorbing and deflecting impact and protecting the foot and body from these impact forces. All of this while continuing to offer a responsive and stable ride.

ProGrid is based on the same principals and physics as GRID, yet is located closer to the foot and provides greater comfort and cushioning without compromising on support and durability. Incorporated into the innovative ProGrid platform is a new material called ResponTek. ResponTek is a blend of foams and synthetic rubbers, which creates a platform that cushions and responds with every stride. Thus, providing the runner with the ultimate experience in cushioning, plushness, and heel-to-toe transition.

Along with new technology, Saucony will continue to be the runner’s choice with updated versions of some industry franchise models such as the Trigon Ride and Trigon Guide.
